Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in specialized cardiology department
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
- Cardiology background highly desirable
