Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critical cardiac patients using advanced telemetry systems
- Administer specialized medications and perform complex interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and recovery protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license required
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years ICU or cardiac telemetry experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
