Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced cardiac monitoring and intervention for post-op and critical care patients
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform ECG analysis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health management
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Participate in rapid response team activations
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years ICU experience with cardiac specialization
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
