Responsibilities
- Provide advanced cardiac monitoring and critical care interventions for post-op cardiac patients
- Administer medications, including vasoactive drips and anticoagulants
- Perform rapid patient assessments and respond to emergency situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Utilize electronic health records to document patient progress
- Educate patients and families on cardiac recovery protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington State
- BSN degree or higher (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years ICU/CCU experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilators
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
