Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced cardiac monitoring and interventions for post-op cardiac patients
- Administer medications and perform complex assessments using EKG interpretation skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and recovery protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EHR systems
- Participate in rapid response and code blue situations
Qualifications
- Active KY RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years ICU/CCU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
