Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' cardiac conditions using advanced telemetry equipment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health, medications, and recovery protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR systems
- Respond emergently to rapid response situations with critical thinking
- Maintain sterile techniques during procedures and wound care
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 1 year telemetry or cardiac nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment skills and EKG interpretation
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
