Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and pharmacists.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of North Carolina.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
