Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols and standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and patient safety focus
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and medication reactions with clinical vigilance
- Provide patient education on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR systems
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities and patient-centered approach
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
