Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and standards of care.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license to practice in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred for specialty units.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
