Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to medical orders.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and code blue activations.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
