Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and response to treatments, documenting all findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary health care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and discharge planning.
- Respond to medical emergencies with urgency and precision.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New grads welcome).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
