Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status, identifying changes and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in critical care situations.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
