Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical settings including hospitals, urgent care centers, and specialty clinics
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and recovery progress, documenting all observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and home care instructions
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and facility-specific safety regulations
- Manage emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in acute care settings
- BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred for specialty roles
- Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to adapt quickly to different facility protocols and electronic health record systems
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation for facility assignments
