Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in hospital, clinic, or urgent care settings
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatment protocols
- Document patient assessments and medical records accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to physicians
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs as assigned
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficient in EHR systems (EPIC, Cerner preferred)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
