Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care planning in acute care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Document clinical observations accurately and timely in EMR systems
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and facility protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs as assigned by charge nurse
Qualifications
- Active KY RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work 8/12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background/drug screening
