Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including health history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in strict accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient progress continuously, documenting vital signs and changes in condition accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
