Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses to care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with composure and clinical expertise.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
