Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergent situations and patient emergencies.
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
