Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, medications, and changes in condition.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to all infection control and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and demonstrate critical thinking under pressure.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred (acute care or med-surg experience is a plus).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation (for facility coverage).
