Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care information accurately and promptly in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Respond to emergency situations and initiate appropriate nursing interventions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment by adhering to strict infection control and safety protocols.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance.
- Assess patient needs and provide emotional support to patients and their families during critical times.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems.
