Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and patient-centered care to a diverse patient population in acute care settings.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely using electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
