Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, compassionate nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and skill.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high-volume, fast-paced healthcare environment.
