Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and comprehensive health assessments.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures as prescribed.
- Document patient symptoms, reactions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to critical changes or emergencies.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and discharge planning.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required for ICU/ER roles.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
