Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings including ER, ICU, and surgical units
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with clinical competence
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota RN license (or compact state license)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proven proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to diverse clinical environments
- Positive references from previous healthcare employers
