Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Document patient care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and provide critical care interventions.
- Maintain a sterile, clean, and organized patient environment.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support to families and caregivers.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (preferred for specialized roles).
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Flexibility to travel to various facilities within the Indianapolis metro area.
