Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings including hospitals and specialty clinics
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and facility-specific protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts across various Kansas City facilities
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
