Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document vital signs and medical histories accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and monitor for changes in patient status.
- Ensure compliance with all state nursing regulations and facility policies, including infection control and safety measures.
- Mentor and support junior nursing staff and nursing students when assigned.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and compassionate care delivery.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
