Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in acute care settings with precise medication administration and treatment protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations with EHR proficiency
- Delicate patient education and discharge planning for diverse populations
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital safety regulations
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention skills
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EHR systems
- Strong assessment skills for med/surg, telemetry, or ICU units
- Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment
- Flexibility to cover varied shifts including nights and weekends
