Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, urgent care centers, and specialty clinics
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic procedures, and monitor patient vital signs with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation adhering to HIPAA compliance standards
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive healthcare measures
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations using ACLS/BLS protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required); PALS preferred for ER roles
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong critical thinking skills with ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including nights and weekends (optional)
