Responsibilities
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Assess patient needs, administer medications, and implement care plans under the supervision of physicians.
- Monitor Patient Status: Observe, record, and report symptoms and changes in patient conditions to ensure timely interventions.
- Administer Treatments: Perform wound care, catheterizations, and other specialized nursing procedures as authorized.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure comprehensive patient recovery.
- Document Care: Maintain accurate, detailed records of patient history, assessments, and care provided.
- Educate Patients & Families: Provide clear instructions on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure Safety Protocols: Adhere to all hospital safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Active California RN License: Must hold a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, BSN, or ASN required).
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and families.
- Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and hospital software.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as required during shifts.
