Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Document patient care services in accordance with legal standards and facility policies.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and healing environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
