Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including med-surg, telemetry, and emergency departments
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions to detect changes requiring intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Utilize electronic health record systems for accurate charting
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience within the last 2 years
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for critical care roles
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Ability to adapt to diverse clinical settings and patient populations
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
