Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in diverse settings including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility-specific protocols
- Adapt quickly to varying clinical environments and patient populations
- Maintain precise medical records and electronic documentation systems
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in acute care or specialty area
- BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred for specialty roles
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
