Responsibilities
- Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care by assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions in accordance with established protocols.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments, strictly following physician orders and safety protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborative Practice: Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patients/families to ensure holistic care and positive patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient assessments, medications administered, and clinical observations in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Emergency Response: Rapidly respond to patient emergencies and critical situations, utilizing advanced life support skills when necessary.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all healthcare regulations, including OSHA standards, HIPAA guidelines, and hospital infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; New Graduates are encouraged to apply for residency programs.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required. Additional specialty certifications (CEN, CCRN, etc.) are a plus.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to maintain composure under pressure and a commitment to patient advocacy.
