Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, develop, and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, reporting changes immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
