Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and safety regulations.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status, responding promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Maintain a sterile and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care or clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in high-stress situations.
