Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing patient conditions and administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and vital signs.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff members.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
