Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions closely, reporting any significant changes immediately.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent nursing experience preferred (new grads welcome for certain units).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
