Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care in accordance with state nursing standards and facility protocols.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge planning, and preventative care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment while adhering to strict infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
