Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and report significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (or compact state).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
