Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient health and promptly report any changes or adverse reactions to the medical team.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Respond to emergency situations with calmness and clinical expertise.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred (new grads welcome with sponsorship).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient safety standards.
