Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical status
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
