Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to critical changes in condition immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide comprehensive patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical records and documentation.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the State of Colorado.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as necessary.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced settings.
