Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and clinical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health management, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with composure and rapid decision-making skills.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Colorado.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice.
