Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for emergency patients
- Administer medications and perform life-saving interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care plans
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue emergencies
- Maintain infection control protocols and patient safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact state license)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years ER or critical care experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
