Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessments and evidence-based interventions in emergency settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care measures
- Participate in trauma response codes and rapid intervention teams
- Maintain inventory and equipment in accordance with hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN candidates with experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (or obtain within 90 days)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system preferred
