Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in high-acuity emergency settings including trauma resuscitation and cardiac emergencies
- Assess patient conditions using advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff
- Document patient care accurately in Epic electronic health records
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain emergency equipment and supplies for optimal department readiness
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Colorado
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years emergency or critical care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong assessment skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress, time-sensitive situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
