Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in high-acuity emergency settings
- Assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Adhere to JCAHO and California Board of Nursing standards
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (required)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ED preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
