Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and stabilize emergency patients using evidence-based protocols
- Administer medications and treatments under established clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in Epic EHR
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care instructions
- Participate in rapid response and trauma resuscitation initiatives
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Electronic health record proficiency required
