Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and provide direct patient care in emergency settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
- Respond effectively to critical situations using ACLS/BLS protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic)
